Coke studiosĀ 

The MyCoke site was an online chat game used for marketing the Coca-Cola brand and products. It was created in January 2002 by Studiocom an Atlanta-based digital agency using core technology from Sulake Corporation, the company responsible for a similar popular online game called Habbo Hotel. In 2004 Studiocom built its own version of the Massively Multiplayer Online Game (MMOG) platform, and I was responsible for product and project management of both the vendor and in-house version of the platform.

Product Features

At Studiocom, we were Coca-Cola’s agency of record and were responsible for helping transform coke’s youth culture through a number of activations surrounding online games, music, and bottle cap redemption and rewards programs. A large contribution to Coke’s success was through Coke Studios where registered members could purchase virtual prizes and decorate their personalized rooms with those items via bottle cap redemption. Considered a huge success, Coca-Cola eventually retired the game due to cost and a changing online app culture. Below are some of Coke Studios’ key features:
